Get Shirty

The Get Shirty design competition created a high-performance innovative women’s kit at a time when the visibility of women in sport is becoming more and more significant. A kit is so much more than something you wear. It not only affects outward perceptions, it affects how the team feel about themselves.

Entries were open to anyone from school students to professional designers. The prize fund of £1000 for the successful design, plus £1000 towards an official female sports group of the winner's choice.

The winner has now been announced as Sarah Diante with her striking entry featuring the prominent stag at it's centre. You can view the winning entry and read more about Sarah's design here.

Sarah's design has been produced by Macron and was unveiled on Sunday 3rd November 2024 at Hartlepool Rovers with the under 16 girls team proudly taking to the pitch. Sarah also chose to share her £1,000 winners contribtion with the aspiring female team at Hartlepool Rovers.
