COVID-19 Safety measures at The Winter Droving

HS

This year's festival has been in production since April and Eden Arts have put a number of measures in place to provide the public with a COVID safe event.

Enhanced cleansing will be in operation, a dedicated team will be on-site to carry out enhanced cleaning of high-frequency touch points throughout the site. Entrances to high flow areas will have hand sanitiser stations installed, the cleaning team will monitor the levels and refill as required. All temporary toilets will have internal hand sanitiser installed inside them.To assist in increasing the time between usage, the number of toilet units has been increased.

To prevent overcrowding, the organisers made the decision early on in the planning to cancel the parade. Eden Arts have created a programme that covers all 3 days equally so that attendees get the same experience regardless of which day they attend (don't all come on the Saturday evening!)

All attendees are advised to take a LFT test from either the NHS or their local authority within 48 hours of the event. Advice will state not to attend if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19. If you do have any of these symptoms, you will be advised to get a PCR test.

Spectators are asked not to attend if they have been instructed to self-isolate.

Eden Arts are sure that the event will be safe to attend if everyone continues to be health aware and takes appropriate measures to ensure their and other's safety.
