Eden Arts seeks Company Manager

Shining beacon

Salary: £32K per annum

We are seeking a special person to be part of shaping an exciting and ambitious future for Eden Arts.

Working in close collaboration with the Director, the Company Manager will develop the business model and strategic plan for the coming years and oversee the company management and delivery of Eden Arts programme in 2021.

Eden Arts exist to inspire change and enrich lives through cultural initiatives, strategic projects, events and festivals.

Eden Arts are breaking ground in the north of the north. Inspiring change through culture and challenging the culture sector and others to ‘think sideways’ both metaphorically and literally through their #66 project connecting Cumbria, Durham and Tees Valley.

How do we do this – what do we actually do? We create festivals with intent – either beautifully crafted to suit our rural place, with added myth making and fun, or a festival directed towards promoting visual and contemporary arts or a COVID response for a small town. We make outdoor cinema to die for (no deaths), we run the biggest community cinema network in the north. We work with the best of international artists on mostly very top-secret things (some are in the air right now) and we are working to open a new venue in Carlisle that can be a truly change-making peoples’ place...

Eden Arts produce award-winning things; The Winter Droving, Picnic Cinema, Cine North, C-Art and more…
