The Winter Droving Artist Call Out 2022
We are currently seeking talented musical performers for The Winter Droving, which is being held on the 29th October 2022 in Penrith, Cumbria.
Are you a talented singer, musician or band or street performer? Or do you know someone who is? Then you (or they) could be showcasing your talents at this year’s Winter Droving, to an estimated audience of over 25,000 people during the festival.
The Winter Droving is an annual spectacle of music, masquerade and magical carnival feels with masks, fire torch bearers and larger-than-life illuminated animal lanterns. If this sounds like your kind of jam, we want to hear from you!
You should be a fan of all things droving; plus, energetic, bold, and 100% fun! You need to be one-of-a-kind, with your own original, unique material.
We are in need of applicants who can fill a stage and gather a crowd. We are all about making a BIG impact!
Some of our past acts have included The Baghdaddies, Mr Wilson's Second Liners, Electric Swing Circus, K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade, Ponyland, Elaine Davidson, Beachmaster, Wearequasars, Bluejam, and many more.
We are especially interested in working with musicians from under-represented backgrounds. Including people from Black, Brown, Asian (South, East, Middle East), LGBTQ+, and disabled communities. We are also dedicated to producing an event in which at least 50% of the performers are female or identify as female.
