Ash Sketch, of London, said: “My design is inspired by the area’s vibrant character and the team’s fighting spirit. It stands out from the crowd making a statement of strength and determination.”
Ash wanted to create a design that attracted the attention of people who weren’t necessarily into watching or playing rugby, making the kit an item to covet and piquing their interest in the team that wears the shirt. The design pays homage to the American varsity style and features the date the Hartlepool club was formed - 1879.
