Introducing the Get Shirty Finalists: Archie Prince

Archie Prince, 20, a product design student at Nottingham Trent University. He said: “It feels great being shortlisted, I wasn’t expecting as much and just being a finalist is recognition.”

Archie’s design draws on the history of suffragette Amy Beatrice Norman, of Hartlepool, close friend of Emeline Pankhurst. The design incorporates silhouettes of women in various roles with nods to the Hartlepool Rovers RFC colours along with the pink ribbons associated with Breast Cancer awareness. Archie said ‘it has been amazing being short-listed for the Get Shirty competition. I study product design so I’ve really enjoyed trying something new and it’s been great receiving this recognition for my design’.
